A great, short, easy to read book on carbs/no carbs. Was recently diagnosed Type 2 Diabetes, so I bought about 10 books on the subject and how to beat it --- hands down, Carb Charts was the best and I always have it on hand for quick reference. Does not get bogged down on mindless details, but rather tells you what you really need to know. Covers the full food chain and easy to grasp what is or is not important. A definite MUST HAVE!Product details

Carb Charts Low Carb Reference edition by Lisa Shea Cookbooks Food Wine eBooks Reviews
This book is NOT a good carb reference at all !
It does not break down Carbs or give you net carbs. If you count Carb SKIP this book it is of NO help
I was expecting more of a "chart" but this is more like a novel with information I wasn't interested in. Not easy to follow, at least from my standpoint. However, I can see where it would be very helpful and beneficial to anyone in serious need of carbs instruction.
I enjoyed this book. it was easy to read and gave me a lot of information to start my new way of eating.. my doctor suggested that I started a low carb or no carb way of eating. I don,t like to use the word diet. Looking forward to loosening weight and living longer. thanks for this great tool that I can use
This was exactly what I was looking for! It gave me concise ratings on most foods and was an excellent guide to help me decide which foods I can eat and when. As an insulin dependent diabetic it was extremely helpful.
I appreciate the listing by category I.e. Fruit - vegetable - meats etc. rather than alphabetical. Great explanations and wonderful reference for Keto way of eating. Easy to check net carbs at store for items without nutrition information. I finally found this book after searching thru many and the price is great only 99 cents.
It would have been better if there was one list for foods rather than scattered throughout the book....exp veg in one section, dairy in another, meats in another part of the book etc. Too much flipping/searching involved.
I was looking for a quick reference for carbohydrates I appreciated the information given before the foods are listed but then when the foods were not in alphabetical order and I had to flip flip flip to find squash and then that was rather incomplete I was not as pleased as I thought I would be
